    Hm, ovo bi stvarno trebalo uradit. Ako ništa drugo, spriječilo bi svakog hajvana koji se dohvatio tastature da piše šta god hoće…

    block device ti je /dev/sr0…. umjesto toga stavi dev/hda u /etc/fstab i proble je riješen..

    da izvineš na izrazu, al deeeebelo si zasr’o pri kompajliranju… 🙂
    kao prvo mi nije jasno zašto so isključijo sve moguće optimiuacij za svoj procesor (MMX, SSE, 3DNow)… time ti je MPlayer sigurno sporiji 30% (ovo ti posebno dolazo do izražaja kod multimedije).. stvarno se ne razumijem u te gentoo flagove… uzmi pa kompajliraj iz izvornog koda standardnim naredbama (./configure …) i sve će ti sam automatski prepoznat… isto ti javlja grešku da ne može koristiti xv kao izlaz… probaj vidix ili xvidix (opcija -vo)… aman ti nije uključna ni podrška za “sirovi” video (ono raw420)… ali može biti i neki drugi problem… ko zna šta tu sve nije uključeno pri kompajliranju, a trebalo je…
    Ništa, kompajliraj ponovo, al na standardan način, bez ikakvih dodatnih argumenata.

    Dobro, tu je jasno da transcode nema alternetivu. Pogotovo kod snimanja VHS videa, jer je kvlitet poprilično degradiran, pa je neophodno hvatati u punoj rezolucij pomoću MPEG2 codec-a, i visokim bitrate-om., pa kasnije to obraditi da dvoprolaznim enkodiranjem i uz upotrebu kvalitetno zoom filtera. Al’ i to je već dobro poznato. Mada ja sam se i navikao bez tog preview-a (i na transcode-u)… onaj pv filter samo guta snagu procesora… može se to bolje iskoristiti… čim vidim kakvog je kvaliteta signal (ili film), odmah iz glave izabacim profil koji odgovara… a nije ni čudo koliko sam DVD-ova ripovao, snimio tv programa i ne znam šta sve više… sve od nandub-a i avisynt-a (sa windows-a) pa sad do ovih koje koristim na Linux-u…

    Da, ali kada jednom podesiš Debian/Gentoo zaboravićeš i na Mandrake i na SUSE čak i na Slackware.

    Opet ti na Slackware napadaš… 🙂
    kvragu više i sa tim Gentoo-om… evo stavio sam ga na download, a da vidim i to čudo. Samo da ne bude ko u onoj poslovici: “Kud svi Turci tu i mali Mujo”… 🙄

    Ajd sad fino probaj sa istim parametrima u mencoder-u, pa ćeš videjet da ćeš dobit bolju sliku. Valjda znam šta govorim, pošto sam isprobao mali milion kombinacija koristeći sve moguće codec-e (divx4linux, libavcodecov mpeg4, xvid, h.263, h.264…) i vjeruj mi na riječ (kad već nećeš da probaš 😉 ), mencoder daje najbolju sliku, a xvid je, što je opštepoznato, najkvalitetnij MPEG4 codec. Mada ni libavcodecov mpeg4 ne zaostaje puno kada se uključe napredne funkcije (a koje nisu uključeno po default-u)… MPEG2 je druga priča, jer mencoder ima eksperimentalnu podršku za MPEG2 format, pa nije baš najbolje riješenje… al’ to je već rečeno…

    ako ni tada neće, moguće je da nisi kompajlirao modul… ovo mislim na Slack (a važi i za ostale)… znači moraš ručno pokrenutu skirpte make.sh i make_install.sh

    obrati pažnju da u fstab-u moraš imati i liniju
    tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
    ako ti ni poslije toga neće da radi, onda, nažalost tvoja kartica nije podržana. (naravno probaj modprobe fglrx, čisto da vidiš da li ti se kompajlirao taj modul), i svakoko moraš imati instaliran kernel source (mogu i header-i)

    znači da nemaš 3D akceleraciju… a izbaci ti više od 800fps zato što imaš jači procesor… jesi li podesio sa komandom fglrxconfig ili sa nečim drugim? Očigledno je da ti neučitava fglrx modul…

    he, he… nisam znao da nVidia GeForce 4, MX440, AGP 8x se proizvodi od strane ATI-ja… koliko ja vidim ne govori se o NVIDIA karticama… 😉

    Kao što mene posavetovaše “vidi negde u /etc/…” 😆
    Zaista ne znam. Na SuSE udjem u YaST i vidim uključen ili ne checkbox 3D Acceleration.

    uključićeš malo sutra, osim ako nemaš neku stariju karticu koja koristi open surce drajvere… ovo mislim na ATI…

    Pa ne bih rekao…Kako to da provjerim?Licno nije me puno ni zanimalo,ali eto cisto da znam?
