Problem oko dial up modema

Gde da nadem driver za modem agere systems PCI soft modem?
nigde ne mogu da nadem codec za mp3, DVD , mp4. Gde mogu to naci?

Hvala na pomoc, nasao sam.ali izgleda da nisam toliko pametan da instaliram. :redface:  Ako neko zna da nudi pomoc, ja bi zamolio da to meni objasni kako to da instaliram na ubuntu 7.10. ???

konkretno za martian je na sledecoj stranici
lucent ali pomocu martian drajvera

da bi se ovo napravilo ,mislim da je potreban paket za kompajliranje
trebalo bi da se ono osnovno za kompajliranje nalazi na cd-u 7.10
posto pretpostavljam da trenutno nemas pristup netu direktno sa ubuntu-a
(ne znam bas tacno za ubuntu  ima valjda build-essentials ili tako nesto,
na  ubuntu-rs.org ima vise informacija)

ali ne mora bas da se prati ovo ‘from source’ uputstvo ,jer je na 7.10
naj jednostavnije pomocu synaptic-a da se ova dva paketa instaliraju
kad pustis synaptic ,tamo u njemu pronadji source:cd i cekiraj ova dva paketa
i idi na apply,i posle toga kad njih instalira onda mozes da nastavis sa daljom
instalacijom ovih martian drajvera

izbacuje sledeci text:

ili sam ja baksuz ili mozda nisam dobar driver skinuo!?
nasao sam martian-full-20071011.tar.gz, jel ovaj driver dobro je za ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy)kernel Linux 2.6.22-14-generic  GNOME 2.20.0?

to je najnoviji drajver,valjda ce da radi na kernelu v2.6.22
nisam isprobavao ,probacu da na ubuntu forumu(globalnom) nadjem thread za ovo
jer obicno azuriraju vesti o tome da li ovi drajveri rade na novijim verzijama linuxa

kada odpakujes arhivu (desni klik pa ‘unpack with packager’ )
pojavice se pod-direktorijum u home direktorijumu koji se zove martian-full-20071011
(mislim da si vec odpakovao)

komanda ‘make’ ili ‘make all’sluzi za kompiliranje drajvera
posto u uputsvu kaze da treba  make all onda

prvo predjes u ovaj poddirektorijum , pomocu
[code] cd /home/gde_se_vec_nalazi/martian-full-20071011 [/code]
pa onda
[code] make all [/code]
posle ovoga ,posalji listing da bi videli da li je ispala neka greska ili je proslo
regularno(okaci ga kao prilog sa .txt ekstenzijom)

ako je bilo bez problema onda
za samu instalaciju treba da imas super-user privilegije
a to se na ubuntu postize kucanjem    ‘sudo’  ispred neke komande ,znaci:
[code]sudo make install[/code]

(posle ovoga ne znam tacno sta dalje,moram da pogledam ili da
javi ko je instalirao martian na nekom racunaru
ili da citamo dalje readme?)

Covek ima Agere-pitanje je da li ce modem uopste da mu radi jer nisu podrzani svi cipsetovi ^-^
Treba prvo da odradis scan modem i da nam kazes sta ti je rekao/izbacio a ovde imas uputstvo kako se to radi http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/#scanModem  😉
Drajver btw radi(jos sam koristio prethodnu verziju  :D)sa novijim kernelima bez problema-recimo na  Fedori 7 koja ima 2.6.21 ako se ne varam

Potentially useful modem drivers now loaded are:

The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) packages providing audio support on your System,
also includes drivers for some modems. High Definition Audio (HDA) cards can themselves host
a softmodem chipset, with both audio+modem supported by a snd-hda-intel driver.
The ALSA diagnostics are written during bootup to /proc/asound/ folders.

Modem not detected though HDA card diagnostics, though not excluding
a possible Conexant modem chip impervious to ALSA diagnostics.

For martian_modem, additional required packages are libc6-dev (and for Debian/Ubuntu,  linux-libc-dev). The also required headers of package libc6 are commonly installed by default.

If a driver compilation fails, with message including some lack of some FileName.h (stdio.h for example), then
