Streamtuner-Shoutcast

Zbog izmena na  http://www.shoutcast.com, streamtuner je poslednjih petnaestak dana bio neupotrebljiv za shoutcast internet radio. Evo rešenja – http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=870436 :

I just noticed that Shoutcast has updated their web page, which no doubt has broken Streamtuner. However the Shoutcast website has a link to the older version of their search engine at http://classic.shoutcast.com.

So here’s my hack to redirect Shoutcast queries to the “classic” page:-

sudo vi /etc/hosts

[Of course you can use nano or mousepad instead of vi.]
Add the line
Code:

205.188.234.120 http://www.shoutcast.com

and streamtuner’s directory should come back online.

This redirection will affect firefox as well, so you’ll no longer be able to access the “new” version of Shoutcast. Once Streamtuner is fixed in the repositories you might want to remove that line from /etc/hosts.

e dobra fora 😀 😀 i stvarno funkcioniše O0
može i na nekom pređašnjem streamtuneru da se upotrebi
bez da se opet kompilira (npr sa live cd -a)

dok ovo ide i za vind. npr stariji winampi se opet pate oko ovoga
(pa se na w98 doda u hosts i eto ga ! 😎 )

dok je ukrpljen streamtuner tako da je sada  ažuriran za protokol
i da prikazuje i onu pretragu a ne samo prvih100 stream-ova na intrepidu

Shoutcast i Xiph rade dok 365 nema šanse .

Kako stoje stvari, ima novih izmena na http://www.shoutcast.com.

Samo navedeni predlog izmene u /ec/hosts ne pomaze kod Fedore 13.
Pored toga treba uciniti i sledece:

U  /usr/lib/streamtuner/plugins treba obrisati shoutcast.so. pa sa mreze preuzeti npr. streamtuner-0.99.99-1.2.fc6.rf.i386.rpm, raspakovati ga i iz paketa premestiti shoutcast.so u /usr/lib/streamtuner/plugins.

Napomena: Problemi na relaciji streamtuner-shoutcast javili pre par dana. Do tada je sve bilo OK.
