Install personal firewall software. PC Flank recommends Outpost Firewall Pro.If you have already installed and are using a firewall, check if it is set to make all the ports of your computer invisible (hidden). If it is, then get new firewall software and redo this test.
Trojan horse check
The test scanned your system to find signs of a Trojan. If a Trojan horse is on your computer a cracker can access your system’s files and your personal data.

The following Trojans use these ports: SubSeven, NetBus, SubSeven, Back Orifice, BioNet
Although these ports are visible, they are not open, so your system is not infected. However, having visible ports on your system means your computer can be “seen” over the Internet. This makes it very easy for skillful intruders to explore your system.Recommendation:
Install personal firewall software and use an anti-Trojan program. Anti-trojans to consider are: The Cleaner, PestPatrol or Tauscan.If you have a firewall, check if it is set to make all your computer ports invisible (hidden). If it is, then it failed miserably. Replace it and redo this test.
Browser privacy checkThe test checked if your web browser reveals any private information while you visit Web sites. Usually such information is: the last site visited, your locale and who your Internet Service Provider is.

If you already have a firewall program adjust it to block the distribution of such information.E, ja ne vidim u servisima da mi iptables radi, a i instalirao sam Guarddog. Dakle, kako se pali iptables da se podize prilikom pokretanja sistema…… (Slackware 10)? Ako ovo i nije nesto ozbiljno, onda nije ni bitno….. Hvala!!!
Najveca su frka otvoreni portovi ispod 1024, a ti ih imas podosta, ukljucujuci i 23 – telnet port, sto znaci da svaka boodala moze da ti udje u komp – iptables moras da instaliras posebno, i da konfigurises, npr. iz guija doticnim guarddogom…
Pa meni su iptables instalirani, ali i to sto uradim sa Guarddogom, nema nikakvog efekta, jer mislim da se ne dizu sa sistemom…. Ne vidim ih u procesima….. Ako neko zna komandu za startovanje iptablesa, neka javi… Hvala!!!
Ja bih rekao da je ovo malo lupetanje. Naime, skenirao sam svoju BSD masinu koja je up to date, sa samo X koji bi trebalo da se vidi sa mreze a ovaj test mi vidi FTP, HTTP, SSH, Telnet sto je apsolutno nemoguce jer nista od toga nije instalirano na masini niti je ijedan od tih portova ukljucen, plus BSD Firewall je ukljucen..mislim da je sve ovo zarad onog “Koristite nas firewall”.:D
Ahem, meni je nasao samo jedan, koji mi nalazi i gcr.com – 631 ipp protocol… sad jbg, ne znam koliko je sve to tacno, ali nije na odmet skenirati…
Pa, s’obzirom da je meni nasao sve portove koji nisu otvoreni a jedini port koji je otvoren nije video mislim da mogu da dovedem u sumnju verodostojnost tog test.:D
