Ovaj vrlo korisni servis za razne audio programe moraće da pretrpi izmene. Razlog, kao i uvek, licence. Mnogo sam se iznervirao kada sam u Amarok-u umesto teksta pesme dobio obaveštenje:
Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions from some of the major music publishers we can no longer return lyrics through the LyricWiki API (where this application gets some or all of its lyrics).

Na http://groups.google.com/group/lyricwiki-api/browse_thread/thread/733ccd919d654040?pli=1 ima više informacija o ovome. Uglavnom, zabranjeno je da se preko API-ja dovlači tekst pesme, ali veza(link) do strane sa tekstom može da se dobije. Ne sumnjam da će programeri ovo lako zaobići, ali ponekad se zapitam – je l’ ima taj kapitalizam granice?!
