УчесникNisam siguran gde sam trebao da otvorim ovu temu, imam specifican problem:
Treba mi savet oko sledeceg1) Zelim da instaliram Centos, a vec imam Linux Mint… Kako ce izgledati dva linux-a, narocito ako kasnije uklonim centos da to ne unisti Mint ili neke bitne podatke iz home.
Jel dele isti root? Da li treba da napravim jos particija , vec imam root i home…2) Treba mi malo da ucim administriranje web servera centos-a… Da li u tom slucaju instaliram centos gui, koji je ispravan nacin, ako mi je potreban samo server koji ce simulirati realno stanje zakupa gde imam samo nepodesen server i centos…
Ako ima neki tutorial ili knjiga koju prepurucujete oko ovoga

ГостPrelažem ti da za razna oprobavanja instaliraš VirtualBox ili .
I tamo se igraš sa svime šta želis.
A možeš i na mintu da instaliraš web server, nekako ni deluje lakše za početak, ima bolje dokumentovano , evo šta sam na prvu google pretragu naso ,

A na drugom sistemu bih se vezbao polako sa modifikovanjem mysql i php-a…
Imam knjigu CentOS Bible i bice tu silnih podesavanja, verovatno to sve moze kroz VirtualBox…

ГостAko se radi o “Apache” web serveru, onda ti je podešavanje isto na svim distribucijama koje su se priključile LSB. LSB je i izmišljen (RedHat, Novell…) da bi to upravo bilo tako.
Dakle, ostani na svom Mintu-u, jer ga voliš i poznaješ njegove specifičnosti. Naravno možeš u VBox-u probati i druge distribucije, kako bi zaključio ovo o čemu sam ti govorio, ali to uradi kasnije kada zadovoljiš svoje potrebe za PHP/MySQL-om na Mint-u, pogotovu što ćeš tada već biti iskusniji.

ГостNajverovatnije da je tvoj CPU 32-bitni na tvojoj harverskoj mašini, a ti si možda skinuo 64-bitnu verziju Linuxa. Skini 32-bitnu. Ono sa brojem procesora, odnosno sa brojem CPU jezgara nema veze, jer je svaki Linux danas spreman za više-procesorski rad, ako se ne varam do 32 Core. Jedino RedHat i Novell (za druge ne znam, odnosno, nisam siguran!) imaju kernele za više od 32 Core.
